L’IMPLANTOLOGIA AVANZATA E COMPLESSA: COME SEMPLIFICARE LE PROCEDURE NELL’ERA DIGITALE - Matteo Chiapasco
Le riabilitazioni protesiche su impianti sono diventate oggigiorno procedure routinarie per la maggior parte dei professionisti del settore. Esistono tuttavia condizioni che sono tutt’oggi considerate critiche o complesse da gestire, come nel caso di atrofia delle creste alveolari edentule non trattabili con impianti standard, corti, di volume ridotto o inclinati, o in presenza di deficit rilevanti dei tessuti molli peri-implantari.
Scopo della relazione è quello di presentare le ultime novità dal punto di vista del piano di trattamento e terapeutico per la semplificazione e la riduzione della morbilità in implantologia avanzata e complessa.
Verranno presentati non solo gli ultimi sviluppi della PGR (prosthetically Guided Regeneration) ma anche le nuove modalità di pianificazione digitale e la ottimizzazione delle tecniche rigenerative sia dei tessuti duri sia dei tessuti molli peri-implantari.
MATTEO CHIAPASCO
MD, graduated in Medicine with a specialization in Maxillo-Facial Surgery from the University of Milan, Italy. He is currently Professor, Unit of Oral Surgery - Department of Biomedical, Surgical, and Dental Sciences, at the University of Milan. Since 2007 he has been Visiting Associate Professor at Loma Linda University, and he has been on faculty at Egas Moniz University, Lisbon, Portugal, since 2020.
Dr. Chiapasco is a member of the European Board of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeons and EAO. He is an ITI Fellow and Past President of numerous organizations, including the Italian Section of ITI, the Italian Society of Oral Surgery, and the Italian Society of Osseointegration.
He is the Founder of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO). Dr. Chiapasco’s area of focus within OMS are orthognathic surgery and advanced preprosthetic surgery using techniques that are both “classical” (GBR, reconstructions with autogenous bone of severe atrophy, tumor defects, trauma sequelae, congenital malformations) and innovative (customized Ti-Meshes, et cetera).
He has extensively lectured on these topics in the last 25 years all over the world.
He is the author of approximately 300 publications on Italian Journals and 130 on international, peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Chiapasco is also the author and co-author of 15 textbooks, some of them translated in more than 10 languages.
