Surgery of the peri-oral area and lips

Lesions of the perioral area and of the lips can also be of various nature. The lips and the perioral area form a region of extreme importance because of the multiple functions: phonation, breathing, swallowing, chewing, and smiling. Removal and reconstruction of injuries in these structures must thus particularly consider the so-called "aesthetic" units that must be restored or maintained. Modern surgical techniques allow removing the lesion with immediate reconstruction and adequate morpho-functional recovery.
