Molina Mario

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1961.
Obtained a specialisation degree in Dentistry and Dental Implants in 1963.
From 1965 he began to take an interest in occlusal problems.
From 1970 to 1974 he attended the courses of the University of Kentucky at the International Centre for Odontostomatologic Updating in Fossano with periods of study at the University of Lexington (USA).
Since 1969 he has held update courses on various fields of occlusal problems, with particular regard to selective grinding and occlusal anatomy. He is the author of numerous papers on these topics.
Since 1974 he has been the head of the Department of Gnatology at the Italian Dental Institute in Milan.
With the help of collaborators of the Italian Dental Institute, he published in 1988 Italian the book "Fundamental concepts of modern gnatology" which was followed, in 1994, by the book "Disorders of the temporomandibular joint."
In 1999 he published, together with collaborators of the ISI, the book "Disorders of the skeletal masticatory muscle system" and in 2005, the book "Oral craniofacial pain".
