Cranio-naso-maxillo-mandibular reconstructive surgery

Reconstructive surgery of the cranio-naso-maxillo-mandibular area includes the functional and morphological restoration of skeletal structures and soft tissues in a region of extreme importance and strong visual impact. Reconstructive techniques are very sophisticated and require bone tissue taken from the patient or the use of biomaterials. Missing soft tissues can be restored with the application of advanced reconstructive techniques and can also be integrated by using lipostructure. In complex cases, there are indications for reconstructive microsurgery performed in highly specialized centers. Deformities of the nasal region are generally of a congenital or acquired origin. The goal is always the restoration of the compromised function and morphology.
